Speaking excellence from our members

We’re so proud of the speaking excellence of two of our club members, who this year competed in the District Finals.

Toastmasters International organises annual contests, starting at club level. The winner goes on to compete at Area level, the winner of that competes at Division level and the winner of that goes on to compete at the District Finals.

We’re delighted that Sheila Hamilton Andrews’ humorous speech about graffiti got her a place in the finals this May in London. Amanda Bouch competed in the Evaluation contest to get through.

Most new members join because they are nervous speaking in public and lack skill and confidence. This results shows what is possible through learning with us. You set your own goals and progress at a pace that suits you, we support you to go as far as you want to through the Pathways learning programme.

Come along to the club as a guest to see how we work and how we could help you achieve. For more information, browse this website and/or contact info@ascotspeakers.org.uk
