We had our third face-to-face meeting of this year with a theme on ‘Break the Bias’, to celebrate International Women’s Day. The evening started with our two new members Amanda and Chris giving their ‘Icebreaker’ speech to introduce themselves to the club. It was followed by amazing table topics with the theme of breaking biases, ranging from colour blindness to our views on maternity and paternity leave. Our table topic winner was Mike. It was Mike’s first win when he talked about the influential women in his life, his mum and wife! He sure made our Women’s Day celebration a special one. The best evaluator award went to Amanda, who gave encouraging feedback to Chris.
